If you are driving from the center of St. Gallen, take the A1 motorway towards Zurich. Follow the signs for A1 toward Zurich, then take the exit toward A13. Continue on the A13 and follow the signs for the Lake Constance area. After about 45 km, take the exit toward Überlingen. Follow the road signs for Seepromenade. Once you reach the promenade, look for parking areas nearby. Be prepared to pay for parking, which can cost around CHF 2-5 per hour.

Start your journey at St. Gallen Railway Station (Bahnhof St. Gallen). Take a regional train (S-Bahn) towards Romanshorn, which runs frequently. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the station called Überlingen. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Seepromenade am Yachthafen. Exit the train station and head west on Bahnhofstraße. Follow the signs toward the lake, and you will see the promenade. Note that a train ticket will cost approximately CHF 10-15.
