Train
If you are in St. Moritz, head to the St. Moritz railway station located in the center of the town. Purchase a ticket to Pontresina, which is just a short train ride away. The train journey will take approximately 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Pontresina station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the Morteratsch Glacier, which is about a 30-minute walk from the station. Head east on Via Maistra, then turn left onto Via dal Bagn. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road, and take the right path that leads you towards the Morteratsch Glacier.

From St. Moritz, you can take a local bus to Pontresina. Find the bus stop near the St. Moritz train station. Look for the bus line that goes to Pontresina (usually marked clearly on the bus schedules). The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Pontresina, get off at the main bus stop. From there, walk east on Via Maistra, then turn left onto Via dal Bagn. Continue straight until you see the sign for Morteratsch Glacier; it is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop.
