Walking
If you are starting from the Thun Train Station (Bahnhof Thun), exit the station and head towards the main street (Bahnhofstrasse). Walk straight along Bahnhofstrasse for about 10 minutes until you reach the Town Hall Square (Rathausplatz). From there, continue down to the Aare River by following the signs towards the Aare Promenade. Once you reach the riverbank, turn right and walk along the Aare until you arrive at Aare-Quai, which is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the river and mountains.
