From Thun, take a train from Thun Bahnhof (Thun Train Station) towards Bern. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bern Hauptbahnhof (Bern Main Station), exit the station and head towards the tram stop located just outside the main entrance. Take Tram Line 9 in the direction of 'Wabern, Rüti'. Stay on the tram for about 10 stops (around 15 minutes). Get off at the 'Zytglogge' stop. From there, walk straight down Kramgasse until you reach the Aare River. Cross the bridge, then follow the path along the river until you reach Marzilistrasse. Turn left onto Marzilistrasse, and you will find Freibad Marzili at number 29.

If you are already in the city center of Thun, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Bern. Start at Thun Castle and follow the walking path along the Aare River. This will take you to the train station. From there, follow the public transport instructions above to reach Freibad Marzili.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Thun. Head towards the Aare River and follow the bike path along the river towards Bern. The ride is approximately 30 km and will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Bern, follow the signs to the city center, then navigate to Marzilistrasse 29, where Freibad Marzili is located.
