From Thun, head to the Thun train station, which is centrally located. You can walk there from most places in the city center. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Lauterbrunnen. The train departs approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Lauterbrunnen station, exit the station and follow the signs toward the Lauterbrunnen village center. From there, you can either walk or take a local bus towards Mürrenbachfall.

After arriving at Lauterbrunnen train station, you can take Bus Line 141 towards 'Stechelberg' from the bus stop right outside the station. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Stechelberg' stop. From Stechelberg, follow the signs for the hiking trail leading to Mürrenbachfall. The walk is about 30 minutes and it is a well-marked path.

If you prefer to walk from Lauterbrunnen to Mürrenbachfall, exit the train station and walk towards the village center. From there, head towards the waterfall by following the road signs.
