Train
From Thun, head to the Thun train station (Bahnhof Thun). Purchase a ticket for Kandersteg at the ticket counter or from the machines. Board a regional train heading towards Brig. The train ride takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Kandersteg station, exit the train and follow the signs to the bus terminal adjacent to the station.
Bus
At Kandersteg train station, catch the PostBus (Bus No. 31) towards Oeschinen. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Oeschinensee stop. From there, you will need to walk about 15 minutes to reach the gondola lift station, following the signs along the path.
Hiking
If you are feeling adventurous and enjoy hiking, from Kandersteg station, you can walk towards Oeschinensee. The trail is well-marked and takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
