Walking
Starting from the Thun train station, exit the station and head southeast towards the main road (Bahnhofstrasse). Cross the road and continue straight onto the Hauptstrasse. Follow this street for about 800 meters until you reach the junction with the Aare river. Turn left to walk along the riverbank, enjoying the scenic views. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a bridge (Aarebrücke) ahead. Cross this bridge, and once you reach the other side, turn right onto Wichtrachstrasse. Continue straight for about 500 meters, then take a left onto Wartboden. Follow Wartboden for about 300 meters, and you will arrive at Ruheplatz, a tranquil hiking area.

Public Transportation
From the Thun train station, take tram line 1 towards 'Steffisburg.' Get off at the 'Wartboden' stop, which is about 5 stops away. After exiting the tram, head southwest on Wartboden street. Continue walking for about 300 meters, and you will find Ruheplatz, a peaceful hiking area, at the end of the street.

Bicycling
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike near the Thun train station. Head out of the station and follow the Hauptstrasse towards the Aare river. Once you reach the river, turn left and cycle along the riverbank. After about 1 kilometer, cross the Aarebrücke (bridge) and turn right onto Wichtrachstrasse. Continue straight for around 500 meters, then turn left onto Wartboden. Follow this road for about 300 meters, and you will arrive at Ruheplatz, a lovely hiking area.
