Getting There
Bus
From Thun, walk to the Thun Bahnhof (train station). Once there, take the Bus Line 21 towards Oberhofen. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Oberhofen, Schloss' stop. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes towards the lake, and you will see Schloss Oberhofen on your left.
Train and Walk
Start at Thun Bahnhof and take a train towards Interlaken. Get off at the 'Oberhofen' train station (this stop is about 10 minutes away). From the Oberhofen train station, you can walk approximately 15 minutes toward the lake. Follow the signs toward Schloss Oberhofen, which will be located on Schloss 4, directly by the water.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Thun. Start from the city center and head towards the Thunersee (Lake Thun). Follow the lakeside path along the shoreline towards Oberhofen. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your speed. Keep an eye out for signs leading to Schloss Oberhofen as you approach the town.
Walking
If you enjoy walking, you can walk from Thun to Oberhofen. It is approximately a 6 km route and will take around 1.5 hours. Start by heading south towards the lakeshore and follow the path along Lake Thun. This scenic route will lead you directly to Oberhofen, where you will find Schloss Oberhofen at Schloss 4.
