Train
From Thun, head to the Thun train station (Bahnhof Thun). Once there, purchase a ticket to Fribourg. Trains to Fribourg run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Fribourg train station, exit the station and head towards the main street (Boulevard de Pérolles).

At Fribourg train station, take bus number 2 towards 'Tavel' or bus number 3 towards 'Givisiez'. Get off at the 'Pont Suspendu' stop. From there, walk a short distance along Rue du Pont-Suspendu, and you will reach St-Nicolas Cathedral, which is located at Rue du Pont-Suspendu, 1700 Fribourg.

If you prefer to walk from the Fribourg train station, exit the station and head southwest on Avenue de la Gare. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Boulevard de Pérolles. Cross the street and continue straight onto Rue de la Banque. Follow this road until you reach Rue du Pont-Suspendu. Turn right, and you will see St-Nicolas Cathedral ahead.
