Start from Thun train station (Bahnhof Thun). Exit the station and head towards the main road, Stadtbach. Walk straight on this road until you reach the junction with the Aare River. Turn left onto the riverbank path (Aarepromenade) and follow the river. After about 15 minutes, you will see a sign for Wassersteg on your right. Follow the signs, and you will reach Wassersteg, which is a scenic wooden footbridge offering beautiful views of the river and surrounding mountains.
