Walking
If you are starting from the Thun train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Zentralstrasse). Walk straight on Zentralstrasse for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Aarestrasse. Turn left onto Aarestrasse and continue walking along the river. You will pass beautiful views of the Aare River on your right. After about 800 meters, you will reach the old town (Altstadt). Keep walking straight until you reach the main square (Ob. Hauptgasse). From here, you can see Kirchtreppe just a short walk away. Head up the stairs located at the end of the square, which will take you directly to Kirchtreppe.
Public Transport
From the Thun train station, take bus number 21 or 22 towards 'Thun, Wabern' or 'Thun, Allmend'. Get off at the 'Thun, Altstadt' stop. After exiting the bus, walk towards the main square (Ob. Hauptgasse). Once at the square, you can see the Kirchtreppe nearby. Simply follow the path leading up the stairs to reach your destination.
