Car
From any location in Thurgau, head towards the A7 motorway. If you are in Frauenfeld, take the A7 towards Zürich. After about 30 kilometers, follow the signs for the A1 towards Zürich. Continue on the A1 for about 20 kilometers. Take exit 67-Zürich-Affoltern, and merge onto the A1L road towards Zürich-City. Follow the signs to the city center. Once you arrive in Zürich, look for signs to Drahtschmidlisteg, which is located in the central area. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for parking regulations.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, start by taking a train from any major station in Thurgau, like Frauenfeld or Kreuzlingen, towards Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Zürich HB). The journey typically takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive at Zürich HB, exit the station and look for the tram stop. Take tram line 4 towards Bahnhof Altstetten and get off at the stop called 'Helvetia'. From the tram stop, it's about a 10-minute walk to Drahtschmidlisteg. Just head southeast on Bahnhofstrasse, then take a left onto Sihlstrasse, and continue straight until you reach your destination.
