Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Winterthur. From the center of Thurgau, take the A4 motorway towards Winterthur. Once you reach Winterthur, take exit 67-Winterthur-Töss and follow signs for Stadtzentrum. Continue on Zürcherstrasse until you reach Hexenfels, located at coordinates 47.517027, 8.7118789. There is limited parking available nearby, so be sure to check for any parking fees.

Public Transportation

To reach Hexenfels using public transportation, take a train from any station in Thurgau to Winterthur. Trains run frequently from towns such as Frauenfeld or Kreuzlingen. Once you arrive at Winterthur station, exit and head to the bus terminal. Take bus number 5 towards 'Hegmatten' and get off at the 'Hexenfels' stop. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Be sure to check the SBB website for the latest schedules and possible ticket costs.

Walking

If you prefer to walk from the Winterthur train station, exit the station and head east on Bahnhofstrasse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Zürcherstrasse. Turn right onto Zürcherstrasse and follow it until you see signs for Hexenfels. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes and will cover around 2.5 kilometers.
