If you're driving, take the A1 motorway towards St. Gallen. From Zurich, head east on the A1 for approximately 45 km. Take exit 73 toward Arbon/Amriswil. Continue on the road for about 7 km, following signs for Arbon. Once in Arbon, follow Weitegasse until you reach the museum at number 8. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach the Saurer Museum via public transport, start by taking a train to Arbon. You can catch a train from Zurich HB (main station) to Arbon, which typically takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Arbon Bahnhof (train station), exit the station and walk towards the bus stop. Catch bus line 2 towards Weinfelden and get off at the 'Weitegasse' stop. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop, located at Weitegasse 8. Be sure to check the current bus schedule for departure times, as they may vary.
