Getting there

Bus

From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Ascona, Posta'. Board the bus line 31 towards 'Lugano, Stazione'. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'Ossuccio, Piazza Cardinal Durini'. From there, you will be just a short walk to Villa Balbiano.

Ferry

Head to the Ascona ferry terminal, located along the lakeside promenade. Take the ferry towards 'Lenno'. The ferry ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Lenno', walk towards the bus stop 'Lenno, La Fabbrica' and take the bus line 1 towards 'Ossuccio'. Get off at 'Ossuccio, Piazza Cardinal Durini' to reach Villa Balbiano.

Walking

If you're up for a scenic walk, you can stroll along the lakeside from Ascona towards Ossuccio. It's approximately a 1.5-hour walk, so wear comfortable shoes.
