If you're driving, head towards Gotthardstrasse (Route 2) in Altdorf. From the center of Uri, follow the signs for Altdorf which will lead you to Route 2. Once you reach Altdorf, continue straight on Gotthardstrasse. The Uri Historical Museum will be on your right at Gotthardstrasse 18. There is parking available nearby, but it may incur a fee depending on the area.

To reach the Uri Historical Museum by public transport, take a bus from any location in Uri that heads to Altdorf. The main bus line is operated by PostAuto. You can check the schedule at the local bus station. Get off at the Altdorf, Gotthardstrasse stop. From there, it is a short walk to the museum; simply walk along Gotthardstrasse heading towards the direction of the lake, and the museum will be on your right at Gotthardstrasse 18.

If you are already in Altdorf, you can easily walk to the Uri Historical Museum. Start from the Altdorf Post Office, head north on Poststrasse, and turn left onto Gotthardstrasse. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters, and the museum will be on your right at Gotthardstrasse 18.
