From the center of Uri, head towards the A2 highway. Follow the signs for A2 towards Gotthard. Take the exit at Sisikon (Exit 39). After exiting the highway, continue straight onto Axenstrasse. You will find Tellskapelle located directly on Axenstrasse, approximately 2 km from the exit. There is parking available near the chapel.
Public Transportation
If you're traveling by train, take a train from the Uri train station to Sisikon. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Sisikon station, exit the station and walk towards Axenstrasse. The Tellskapelle is about a 20-minute walk from the station. Follow Axenstrasse in the direction of the lake, and you will see the chapel situated along the road.
