Car
If you are driving, take the A1 motorway towards Lausanne. Exit at 'Lausanne-Vennes' and follow the signs for 'Lausanne Centre'. Continue on Avenue de la Gare, then take Rue du Grand-Pont and follow it to Route du Signal. The Hermitage Foundation will be on your left at Rte du Signal 2, 1018 Lausanne. There is parking available nearby, but note that parking fees may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach the Hermitage Foundation via public transportation, start by taking a train from any location in Vaud to Lausanne. The trains run frequently, and you can check the SBB website or app for schedules. Once you arrive at Lausanne’s main railway station, take Metro Line M2 (the blue line) in the direction of Ouchy. Get off at the 'Ouchy' station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk uphill to the Hermitage Foundation. Follow the signs towards the 'Parc de l'Hermitage' along Route du Signal to reach your destination.
Bus
If you prefer to take a bus, from the Lausanne train station, you can catch bus number 21 towards 'Ouchy, Lavaux' and get off at the 'Hermitage' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the Hermitage Foundation located at Rte du Signal 2. Be sure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary throughout the day.
