Car
If you are driving from Lausanne, take the A1 motorway towards Yverdon-les-Bains. After about 45 km, take the exit 15 towards Vallorbe. Continue on Route de Vallorbe (Route 1) for approximately 8 km until you reach Chemin de la Résurgence. The Vallorbe Caves will be on your left. Parking is available on-site, usually at no additional cost.
Train
For those using public transportation, take a train from Lausanne to Vallorbe. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Vallorbe train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located nearby. You can take Bus 721 towards 'Vallorbe, Grottes' which will take you directly to the Vallorbe Caves. The bus ride is about 15 minutes and costs approximately CHF 3.00.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Vallorbe train station, it is about a 30-minute walk to the caves. From the station, head west on Route de la Gare, then turn right onto Chemin de la Résurgence. Follow the path until you reach the caves. This option is scenic but be prepared for a bit of uphill walking.
