Car
From Verbier, head southwest on Route 5 towards Le Châble. Continue on Route 5 until you reach the roundabout at Le Châble. Take the second exit onto Route 197 towards Aosta. Follow Route 197, which will take you through beautiful mountain scenery. Once you reach Aosta, follow signs for the city center. Upon entering Aosta, continue onto Via Monte Grappa, then turn left onto Via Sant’Anselmo. Finally, turn right onto Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII. The Criptoportico Forense will be on your left.
Public Transportation
From Verbier, take the bus service to Le Châble. From Le Châble, transfer to the train station and take a regional train towards Aosta. The train ride will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Aosta train station, exit and head towards the bus station nearby. Catch a local bus towards the city center. Disembark at the stop for Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII. The Criptoportico Forense is a short walk from there, just a few minutes away.
