Upon arriving at Montreux station, exit the platform and follow the signs to the local bus terminal.

At Montreux bus terminal, board the bus number 201 towards 'Chillon'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop 'Planchamp-Dessous'. After disembarking, follow the signs pointing towards Châtelard Castle. It's roughly a 10-minute uphill walk along Chem. de Planchamp-Dessous to reach the castle entrance.

If you prefer to walk from Montreux, exit the train station and head towards the lakeshore. Follow the path along Lake Geneva heading east until you reach the point where you can turn inland towards Chem. de Planchamp-Dessous.
