Train
From Montreux, head to the Montreux railway station. You can walk there from the center of Montreux in about 10 minutes. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for Lausanne. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Lausanne station, exit the train and follow the signs for the metro.

At Lausanne station, take the M1 metro line towards 'Vigie'. Get off at the 'Lausanne, Gare' stop. From there, exit the metro station and walk straight for about 10 minutes. Follow the signs directing you to the Cathedral, which is located on a hilltop. You will pass through the charming streets of Lausanne, leading you to the Cathedral at Pl. de la Cathédrale 1.

If you prefer to walk from the Lausanne train station, exit the station and head towards Rue de Genève. Continue straight until you reach Place de la Gare. From there, take Rue Saint-Laurent uphill.
