From Vevey train station, take a train heading towards Lausanne. The trains run frequently, so check the schedule on the SBB website or app. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Lausanne train station, exit the station and head towards the main exit. From there, follow the signs to the Metro station located underneath the train station.

Metro
Once you are at the Lausanne Metro station, purchase a ticket for line M2 direction Ouchy. Get on the metro and ride for two stops until you reach the 'Grancy' station. After exiting the metro, walk straight down Rue du Théâtre until you reach Av. du Théâtre. The Lausanne Opera will be on your left.

If you prefer to walk from the Lausanne train station, exit the station and walk straight along Avenue de la Gare. Turn left onto Rue de la Pontaise and continue until you reach Rue du Théâtre. Turn right, and continue walking on Rue du Théâtre until you see the Lausanne Opera at Av. du Théâtre 12.

From Vevey, take a bus from the Vevey bus terminal to Lausanne. You can check the local bus schedules for the exact route. Once you arrive at the Lausanne bus terminal, walk towards the train station and then follow the Metro directions as outlined above.
