Start at Vevey train station (Gare de Vevey). Purchase a ticket to Veytaux-Chillon station. The train to Veytaux-Chillon departs regularly and the ride takes about 5-7 minutes. Once you arrive at Veytaux-Chillon station, exit the train and follow the signs to Chillon Castle. The castle is a short, 10-minute walk from the station. You will head down the path towards Lake Geneva, enjoying scenic views. Follow the lakeside promenade, and you will see Chillon Castle ahead.

Bus
From Vevey, you can take a local bus from the Vevey bus terminal. Look for bus line 201 or 202 that heads towards Chillon. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Chillon' stop. From the bus stop, it will take about 5 minutes to walk to the castle. You will walk towards the lake, and the castle will be visible as you approach.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Vevey. Head towards the lakeshore, following the signs for the promenade. Walk along the waterfront, enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Geneva. The distance is approximately 3.5 kilometers (about 2.2 miles) and will take around 40-50 minutes. Keep walking along the lakeside path, and you will arrive at Chillon Castle, which is located directly on the shore.
