Car
From Wengen, drive towards Lauterbrunnen on the main road. In Lauterbrunnen, take the Aerial Cableway (Gondola) to Grütschalp. Once you reach Grütschalp, follow the signs to the train station. Board the train to Grindelwald. In Grindelwald, park your car at one of the designated parking areas and walk towards the main square. From there, you will find signs directing you to the Bachalpsee trailhead. The hike to Bachalpsee takes about 1.5 hours, following well-marked trails.

Public Transportation
From Wengen, walk to the train station located in the center of the village. Take the train towards Lauterbrunnen and switch trains at Lauterbrunnen to board the train to Grindelwald. Once you arrive in Grindelwald, exit the train station and head towards the main square. Look for signs that indicate the trail to Bachalpsee. The walk to the trailhead takes approximately 15 minutes. The hike to Bachalpsee from the trailhead will take around 1.5 hours along a scenic route.
