Train
From Wengen Station, take the train towards Lauterbrunnen. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Lauterbrunnen, you will need to transfer to the next train towards Mürren. This train departs frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The train ride from Lauterbrunnen to Mürren takes approximately 20 minutes. After arriving in Mürren, follow the signs towards the Wanderweg Mürren - Gimmelwald trailhead.
Cable Car
While in Mürren, you can take the cable car from the center of the village to Gimmelwald. The cable car station is well-marked and is a short walk from the train station. The ride offers stunning views and takes about 5 minutes. Once you arrive in Gimmelwald, follow the trail signs to start your hike along the Wanderweg.
Walking
If you prefer to hike directly from Mürren to Gimmelwald, you can take the scenic walking trail. From the center of Mürren, head towards the north end of the village where you will find the trailhead. The path is clearly marked and is about a 30-minute walk. This route provides beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
