Walking
From the center of Zermatt, head towards the Zermatt train station. Once you reach the station, exit towards the main street (Bahnhofstrasse). Continue walking straight on Bahnhofstrasse until you reach the roundabout at the end. From the roundabout, take the exit towards the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Follow the signs for the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, which will lead you to the gondola station. This is where you will take the gondola to reach the top of the mountain for stunning views of the Criptoportico Forense.

Public Transport
From Zermatt, take the local train to Aosta. The train station in Zermatt is located in the center of town. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride to Aosta. Upon arriving at Aosta, exit the train station and head towards the main square. Criptoportico Forense is located in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII, which is a short 10-minute walk from the train station. Just follow the signs towards the city center, and you will find the square easily.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Zermatt. Simply find a taxi stand or call for a taxi using the local taxi service number. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Aosta, specifically to Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII. The taxi will take you directly to the location, making it a convenient option if you have luggage or prefer not to walk.
