Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Zermatt train station, exit the building and walk straight towards the main street called Bahnhofstrasse. Continue walking along Bahnhofstrasse for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Gornergratbahn. At this point, turn left and follow the signs towards Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, which will take you along the Gornergrathornweg. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise station. From there, take the cable car up to the peak for a stunning view of the Alps. You can spend some time enjoying the views and taking photos. Afterward, make your way back down the cable car and retrace your steps back to Zermatt. Once you return to the main street, keep walking straight until you reach the end of the street where you will find a bus stop. Board the bus heading towards Sion, which is about a 2-hour ride. Once you arrive in Sion, disembark at the main bus station. From there, walk towards Rte d'Italie, which is a 10-minute walk away. Les Celliers de Sion is located at Rte d'Italie 9, and you will find it on your left.

    From Zermatt train station, take a train towards Brig. The journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Brig, transfer to a regional train heading towards Sion. This leg of the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After you arrive at Sion train station, exit the station and walk towards Rte d'Italie, which is a short 10-minute walk. Les Celliers de Sion is located at Rte d'Italie 9, and you will find it on your left.
