Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Zermatt train station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. Walk straight along Bahnhofstrasse for about 10 minutes until you reach the Sunnegga funicular station on your left. The funicular station is well marked and you will see signs directing you to Sunnegga.

Funicular
Once you arrive at the Sunnegga funicular station, purchase a ticket at the ticket counter or use the automatic machines available. Board the funicular, which will take you directly up to Sunnegga. The ride lasts about 8 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

Walking from Funicular Station
Upon reaching Sunnegga, exit the funicular and follow the signs towards the Sunnegga viewpoint. It's a short walk of about 5 minutes uphill. You will be greeted with stunning views of the Matterhorn and the surrounding area once you arrive at the viewpoint.
