From Zermatt train station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. Follow the street until you reach the first intersection. Turn left onto Gornergratbahn street and continue straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the Gornergrat Bahn cable car station. Purchase a ticket to Gornergrat. Take the cable car up and enjoy the stunning views. Once you reach Gornergrat station, follow the signs to the hiking trail leading to Grindjisee. The trail is well-marked and takes approximately 30-40 minutes to hike down to Grindjisee.
