Car
To reach Höllgrotten Baar by car from Zug, start by heading east on Bundesstrasse 1 towards Baar. After approximately 7 km, follow the signs for Baar and take the exit on the right. Continue on Zugerstrasse until you reach Höllgrotten, which is located at Höllgrotten, 6340 Baar. There is a parking area available near the entrance, but be mindful of parking fees which may apply.
Train
For public transportation, take a train from Zug to Baar. Trains run regularly from Zug Bahnhof to Baar Bahnhof and the journey takes around 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Baar Bahnhof, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop. Take bus number 4 towards 'Baar, Höllgrotten' and disembark at the Höllgrotten stop. The entrance to Höllgrotten will be a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Baar Bahnhof to Höllgrotten, it is approximately a 30-minute walk. Exit the station and head east on Bahnhofstrasse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Zugerstrasse, then turn left. Follow Zugerstrasse until you see signs for Höllgrotten, which will lead you directly to the cave entrance.
