If you are driving, start from Zurich and take the A53 highway toward Rapperswil. After approximately 20 km, take exit 11-Stäfa. Continue on the main road until you reach Stäfa. Follow the signs for Chatzentobelweg. The parking area is available near the lake. Please note that parking fees might apply.

For those using public transportation, take a train from Zurich HB (main station) to Stäfa. Trains to Stäfa run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Stäfa station, exit the station and walk towards the lake. Follow the signs for Chatzentobelweiher, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station. The path is well-marked and scenic.

Alternatively, after taking a train to Stäfa, you can also take a local bus (Bus Line 951) from Stäfa railway station that goes towards Chatzentobel. Get off at the stop 'Chatzentobel' which is a short walk from Chatzentobelweiher. The bus ride takes approximately 5 minutes. Please check the local bus schedules for the latest times. There may be a small fare for the bus.

If you prefer walking, after arriving at Stäfa station, head south towards the lake along the Chatzentobelweg road. The walk is pleasant and should take around 15 minutes.
