Tram
If you are near the main train station (Zürich Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 4 or 6 towards 'Werdhölzli' or 'Tiefenbrunnen'. Get off at the 'Idaplatz' stop. You will find yourself right at the square, where you can enjoy the local atmosphere.
Bus
From the city center, you can also take bus number 33 from 'Bahnhofquai/HB' towards 'Zürich, Rüti'. Get off at the 'Idaplatz' stop. The square is just a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are located in the nearby area, such as the University of Zurich or the ETH Zurich, you can walk to Idaplatz. Head south on Rämistrasse, continue onto Zollstrasse, and then turn left onto Idaplatz. It is about a 15-minute walk.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the many bike-sharing services in Zürich. From the city center, cycle along the Limmat river heading south, then turn onto the cycling paths leading to Idaplatz. It’s a pleasant ride and should take around 10 minutes.
