Getting There

  • Train

    From Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S2 train towards Einsiedeln. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Einsiedeln station, exit the station and walk straight ahead on Bahnhofstrasse for about 10 minutes. You will see Kloster Einsiedeln on your left, it's a large and impressive building.

  • Bus

    From Zurich, you can also take bus number 150 from the Central station (Zürich Central) towards Einsiedeln. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes. Get off at the 'Einsiedeln, Kloster' stop. The Kloster Einsiedeln will be just a short walk away.

  • Tram and Train

    Take tram line 6 from Zurich, direction Zoo. Get off at the last stop, Zoo. From there, walk to the nearby Sihltal Zürich HB train station. Take the S4 train to Einsiedeln. The entire journey will take around 1 hour, including the tram and train transfers. After getting off at Einsiedeln, follow Bahnhofstrasse for about 10 minutes to reach Kloster Einsiedeln.
