Tram
If you're starting from Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take Tram Line 6 towards 'Zoo'. This tram departs from the tram stop located directly outside the train station. Ride for about 5 stops until you reach 'ETH/Universitätsspital'. Upon disembarking, walk towards the ETH Zurich university buildings. Look for the signs directing you to Polyterrasse, which is located on the terrace level of the ETH. Follow the pathway that leads up to the terrace.

From the central area, you can also take Bus Line 33 from the 'Central' bus stop. Board the bus towards 'Zürich, ETH/Universitätsspital'. The journey takes around 10 minutes. Get off at 'ETH/Universitätsspital', then follow the same walking directions to Polyterrasse as mentioned above.

If you are already near the University of Zurich or in the city center, you can walk to Polyterrasse ETH. Head towards the ETH Zurich campus, which is located on a hill. Follow the signs towards ETH, and once you reach the campus, look for signs directing you to Polyterrasse. It's a short walk, taking about 15-20 minutes from the city center.

For a unique experience, you can take the Polybahn funicular railway from 'Polybahn' station, which is accessible by walking from the city center or by taking tram or bus to ETH/Universitätsspital. The funicular ride is quick and provides a scenic view up to the ETH Zurich. Once you reach the top, follow the signs to Polyterrasse, which is directly adjacent to the funicular exit.
