From Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S5 or S15 train towards Rapperswil. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Rapperswil station, exit the platform and head towards the town center. Walk straight for about 10 minutes and follow the signs towards Schloss Rapperswil. The castle is located on a hill, and you will see it as you approach.

From Zurich, take tram line 4 to the last stop, which is ‘Zürich, Bahnhofquai/HB’. From there, transfer to bus line 135 towards Rapperswil, which will take about 50 minutes. Once you reach Rapperswil, get off at the stop ‘Rapperswil, Schloss’. Walk uphill for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Schloss Rapperswil.

From Zurich, head to the Burkliplatz ferry terminal. Take the boat operated by ZSG (Zürichsee-Schifffahrtsgesellschaft) towards Rapperswil. The boat ride takes approximately 2 hours and provides beautiful views of the lake. When you arrive at Rapperswil, follow the signs directing you to Schloss Rapperswil, which is a short walk uphill from the boat dock.
