Ride the UBS Polybahn: A Scenic Journey Above Zürich

Getting There

• Tram

  If you are in the city center, head to the nearest tram stop, which could be 'Central' or 'Rathaus'. From 'Central', take tram line 4 or 6 in the direction of 'Tiefenbrunnen' or 'Zürich, Bahnhofquai/HB'. If you are near 'Rathaus', take tram line 4 in the direction of 'Escher-Wyss-Platz'. Get off at the stop 'HB' (Hauptbahnhof). Once you exit the tram at 'HB', follow the signs towards the Limmat river and walk towards Limmatquai. UBS Polybahn is located at Limmatquai 144, which is just a short walk along the river from the tram stop.

• Bus

  If you are near a bus stop, you can take bus line 31 or 33 towards 'Zürich, Bahnhofquai/HB'. Once you arrive at the 'HB' stop, exit and head towards the Limmat river. Walk along Limmatquai, and you will find UBS Polybahn at Limmatquai 144. It's a pleasant walk along the river, and the attraction will be on your left.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Old Town (Altstadt), simply head towards the Limmat river. Walk towards Limmatquai and continue along the riverbank. UBS Polybahn is located at Limmatquai 144, which is easily accessible on foot. If you are near Grossmünster, just walk down to the river and turn left; the Polybahn will be a short distance away.

• Bicycle

  If you have rented a bicycle, make your way to the Limmat river and cycle along the riverbank towards Limmatquai. UBS Polybahn is located at Limmatquai 144. There are bike lanes along the river, making it a safe and enjoyable ride. Look for bike parking spots near the entrance when you arrive.
