Getting There

  • Tram

    If you are starting from Zurich Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), walk to the tram stop located directly outside the station. Take tram line 4 or 6 towards 'Toni-Areal' or 'Escher-Wyss-Platz'. Get off at the 'HB' stop after one or two stops. From there, walk downhill towards Limmatquai. You will see the UBS Polybahn cable car station on your right at Limmatquai 144.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Old Town (Altstadt), head towards Limmatquai, which runs along the river. Walk towards the direction of the river from any point in the Old Town. Continue walking along the river until you reach Limmatquai 144. The UBS Polybahn will be on your left side, easily identifiable by its entrance.

  • Bus

    If you are near the 'Paradeplatz' area, take bus line 161 towards 'Kloten, Flughafen'. Get off at 'Zürich, Central' stop. From there, walk down towards Limmatquai. The UBS Polybahn station is located at Limmatquai 144, just a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Train

    If you are coming from a nearby city, take the train to Zurich Hauptbahnhof. Once you arrive, follow the tram instructions above to reach the UBS Polybahn. The train station is very well connected to trams and buses that lead directly to Limmatquai.
