Train
From Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S2 train towards 'Zug' or 'Zug, ZBB'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at 'Zug' station. Then, transfer to bus number 11 or 12 towards 'Risch, Rietli'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Freienbach, Bahnhof'. From there, walk to the lake and take a ferry to Ufenau Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 20 minutes.

Start at Zurich Hauptbahnhof and take tram line 4 towards 'Zürich, Bahnhof Altstetten'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Zürich, Albisriederplatz'. Here, transfer to bus number 34 towards 'Zug, Bahnhof'. After around 25 minutes, get off at 'Freienbach, Bahnhof'. Walk to the lake and catch a ferry to Ufenau Island, which takes about 20 minutes.
