Tram
From Zürich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take Tram Line 6 towards Zoo Zürich. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. You will pass several stops, including 'HB', 'Bahnhofquai/HB', and 'Sihlquai/Bahnhof'. Get off at the 'Zoo' stop. From the tram stop, it's a short walk to the entrance of Zoo Zürich located at Zürichbergstrasse 221.

From Zürich Hauptbahnhof, you can also take Bus Line 33 towards Zoo Zürich. Board the bus at the bus terminal outside the main station. The ride takes around 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Zoo' stop. After exiting, follow the signs towards the entrance at Zürichbergstrasse 221.

If you prefer to walk, you can start from Zürich Hauptbahnhof. Head northeast on Bahnhofstrasse and continue straight until you reach Lake Zurich. From there, follow the lakeside promenade towards the east until you reach the 'Zürichberg' hill. This walk will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes, leading you directly to the main entrance of Zoo Zürich at Zürichbergstrasse 221.
