From Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take a train to Lucerne (Luzern). Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Lucerne train station, exit the station and walk straight towards the lake. Follow the signs for the Lion Monument, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Head southwest on Bahnhofstrasse, turn left onto Löwendenkmalstrasse, and you will see the Lion Monument ahead.

From Zurich, you can also take a long-distance bus to Lucerne. Various companies operate this route. Check the bus schedules at the central bus station (Zürich Central Station). The bus ride typically takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lucerne bus station, walk towards the lake, and follow the same directions as for the train: head southwest on Bahnhofstrasse, turn left onto Löwendenkmalstrasse to reach the Lion Monument.
