Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Dushanbe, you can walk to the Avicenna Soviet Mosaic. Begin at the main square, Rudaki Park. Head east on Rudaki Avenue (also known as Rudaki Street) for about 1.5 km. You will pass several cafes and shops along the way. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Abuali Ibn Sino Street. Turn left onto Abuali Ibn Sino Street and walk for another 500 meters. The mosaic is located at the intersection of Abuali Ibn Sino Street and the street leading to the Historical Museum. You will see the colorful mosaic on the wall of a building to your right.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  To reach the Avicenna Soviet Mosaic using public transport, head to the nearest bus stop. From the center, take Bus number 12 from the stop near Rudaki Park. This bus will take you towards the east of the city. After a short ride of about 10-15 minutes, you should get off at the stop near the Historical Museum. From there, walk about 200 meters to the north along Abuali Ibn Sino Street. The mosaic will be visible on your left as you approach the intersection with the street leading to the museum.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a faster option, you can take a shared taxi, which is a common way to get around Dushanbe. Head to the nearest taxi stand or flag down a taxi on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to the Avicenna Soviet Mosaic located at HQ53+HQ9. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off right at the location, and you can easily spot the mosaic.
