Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the main area around Iskanderkul Lake. Head east on the Iskandarkul Road (also known as the road to Iskanderkul) for approximately 7 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to the Iskanderkul View Point. Park your car at the designated parking area near the viewpoint, which is well-marked and typically busy with tourists.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, catch a shared taxi or minibus from the nearest town, such as Dushanbe, towards Iskanderkul Lake. The fare is generally around 30-50 Tajik Somoni per person. Once you arrive at the lake, you can either walk along Iskandarkul Road or hire a local taxi to take you directly to Iskanderkul View Point for approximately 20-30 Tajik Somoni. Ensure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.

• Hiking

  If you're feeling adventurous and prefer hiking, you can take a scenic trail from the main area of Iskanderkul Lake to the viewpoint. The hike is about 2 kilometers and can take roughly 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. Follow the trail markers leading towards the viewpoint, enjoying the stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains along the way. Ensure you have proper hiking shoes and water.
