Car Rental
If you're traveling by rental car, start from the city of Dushanbe. Take the A-37 highway heading east towards the town of Sari-Tagh. After approximately 90 km, you will reach the fork at the village of Qurgonteppa. Here, take the right turn towards the A-373 road, which leads to the Iskanderkul area. Continue on this road for about 50 km until you see signs for Iskanderkul Lake. The road to Iskanderkul will turn into a gravel path. Be cautious as the last few kilometers may be bumpy and winding, but the views are spectacular.

From Dushanbe, you can take a minibus (called 'marshrutka') to the town of Qurgonteppa. The marshrutkas leave from the southern bus station in Dushanbe.
