Day tour to Khujand from Tashkent
We were picked up on time...
We were picked up on time & driven to the border of Tajikistan. It would have been nice to be told about what we were passing but the driver's English wasn't strong. He was a very skillful driver & got us through some tight traffic jams. Clean car, fun music & good communication about pick up. After walking through 4 passport controls we were met by Aziz the guide. His English is very good & he told us ALOT. We saw everything as outlined & had a very tasty lunch in an outdoor Cafe. When we told him we'd had enough of a certain site or museum he didn't mind leaving early. We came away with a new appreciation of Tajikistan. A long day, lots of driving, but well worth it. The first driver met us on the other side just as planned.
