Walking
From the center of Tursunzoda, head north toward the main road (A-373). Walk along this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Panjakent. Look for signs indicating 'Panjakent' as you walk. Once at the intersection, turn right onto the road (this is the M-34). Continue walking along this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the town of Panjakent.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the central bus station in Tursunzoda, take any bus heading towards Panjakent. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Panjakent bus station, exit the bus and ask for directions to the Ancient Panjakent excavations, which are located a short walk away from the bus station. It's about a 1 kilometer walk northwest from the bus station to the excavation site.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Tursunzoda. Start by heading north to join the A-373 road, then follow the same route as if you were walking. The bike ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach Panjakent. Once you arrive in Panjakent, park your bicycle and walk to the excavations, which are nearby.
