Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Arusha Central Market, head east on Sokoine Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Njiro Road. Turn left onto Njiro Road and walk for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and restaurants. After 2 kilometers, turn right onto Navrat Street. The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir will be on your left after about 500 meters, next to a small park.

Bicycle
For those renting a bicycle, begin at the Arusha Clock Tower. Cycle north on the Uhuru Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Old Moshi Road. Turn left and continue for another kilometer. When you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Njiro Road, take a right. Cycle straight for about 2 kilometers, then turn left onto Navrat Street. The temple will be on your left after approximately 500 meters.

Public Transport (Daladala)
From the Arusha bus station, take a daladala heading towards Njiro. The fare will be around 500 TZS. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Navrat Street stop. Once you disembark, head west on Navrat Street for about 300 meters, and you will see BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir on your left.

If you're opting for a taxi, simply ask the driver to take you to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir located on Navrat Street. It is a well-known destination, so most drivers will know the location. The ride from central Arusha should take around 15 minutes, depending on traffic, and cost approximately 5,000 - 10,000 TZS.
