Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Arusha Central Market, exit the market and head south on Sokoine Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Old Moshi Road. At the junction, turn right onto Old Moshi Road. Walk for another 2 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for signs to the National Park. Once you reach the entrance of Arusha National Park, look for the Swahili Art Group, located approximately 500 meters past the entrance on your left.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Arusha. From the Clock Tower, head north on Boma Road. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction at Old Moshi Road. Turn left onto Old Moshi Road and cycle for approximately 3 kilometers. As you approach the entrance to Arusha National Park, slow down and look for the Swahili Art Group, which will be located about 500 meters after the park entrance on your left.

  • Public Transport (Dala Dala)

    From the central market area, board a Dala Dala heading to Arusha National Park. The fare is usually around 1,000 TZS. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. When you reach the entrance of Arusha National Park, disembark and walk approximately 500 meters towards the park entrance. You will see the Swahili Art Group on your left.
