From the center of Arusha, head to the main bus station known as 'Daladalas' located near the Clock Tower. Look for a bus heading towards the area of 'Kivesi' or 'Moshono'. Once you reach the Kivesi stop, disembark and ask locals for directions to Mount Kivesi, as it’s a well-known landmark.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Arusha. Start from the Clock Tower and head towards the Moshi road. Make a right at the junction and continue straight. Follow the road signs towards Kivesi. The route is approximately 10 km and will take about 1-1.5 hours, depending on your cycling speed. Ensure you have a map or GPS for navigation, as some paths may not be well-marked.

For the adventurous, you can walk from Arusha to Mount Kivesi. Begin at the Clock Tower and head towards the Arusha Declaration Museum. From there, take the road heading towards Moshono.
