Getting There

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in central Arusha. Start by heading east on Sokoine Road towards the clock tower. Once you reach the clock tower, take a left onto Boma Road. Continue on Boma Road until you reach the junction with Dodoma Road. Turn right onto Dodoma Road and ride straight until you see a sign for Olasiti area. Follow the signs to Dorobo Road, where Tumbili Lodge is located at number 11. It’s approximately a 40-minute ride.
Walking

If you enjoy walking, start your journey from the central market in Arusha. Head east along Sokoine Road until you reach the clock tower. From there, take a left onto Boma Road and continue straight until you get to the Dodoma Road intersection. Turn right and walk along Dodoma Road. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Olasiti area. Once you find Dorobo Road, walk along it until you reach Tumbili Lodge at number 11. This walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
Public Transport (Dala Dala)

Take a Dala Dala (local minibus) from the central bus station in Arusha. Board a Dala Dala heading to Olasiti; these usually leave frequently. Inform the conductor that you are going to Dorobo Road, and they will let you know when to get off. Once you disembark, walk along Dorobo Road until you reach Tumbili Lodge, which is located at number 11. The entire trip should take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
