Getting There

  • By Car

    From Arusha, take the A104 road heading southwest towards Dodoma. After approximately 2 hours of driving, you will reach the town of Makuyuni. Continue on the A104 for another 30 minutes until you see signs directing you to turn right onto a dirt road leading to Tarangire National Park. Follow the dirt road for about 20-30 minutes until you reach the park entrance.

    From Arusha, you can take a public bus or minivan heading towards Babati or Dodoma. Get off at the town of Makuyuni and from there, you can hire a taxi or motorbike to take you to Tarangire National Park.
